The whole concept of investment programs is wrapped around the idea of reporting periods, which determine the interval of time in which the manager is supposed to conduct trading operations and report about the resulting profit or losses.
At the start of the reporting period, the balance of the manager stays fixed, and investors can’t deposit or withdraw funds for the entire duration of the asset management period. All of the requests for an investment or withdrawal from the program are processed at the end of the reporting period.
This is necessary to determine the managers trading capabilities within the timeframes that he chose himself, without any external interference with his trading balance....
