January is over! The first month of 2019 came and went in a heartbeat, but we seized every second of it. From the platform’s next version to our API’s newest tools, our team has made progress in every front. Here are our latest updates!
RCN V4 Diaspore
The RCN v4 Engine -codename “Diaspore”- is almost here! RCN’s first stable release includes loan payments in instalments and more complete, flexible and secure smart-contract credit models. This version has successfully concluded its development process and is currently being audited by our team to test its stability and security. Meanwhile we are ultimating details to secure a proper integration with our dApp, once the release is ready.
Our team is making progress with the development of Marmo SDK, the first open-source tool created by RCN for all the Ethereum community. Marmo is a toolkit that simplifies the integration of Ethereum based projects on already existing platforms by abstracting some of the core characteristics of the Ethereum network while maintaining decentralization and security.
Our UX/UI designers and developers are working on a new checkout phase for the lending user flow, which will show the lender more information in a simpler way to improve his or her understanding of the transaction, before it is confirmed. This information includes the lended amount and its return expressed in both crypto and fiat currencies, as well as other relevant loan data. The checkout phase UI is being designed to optimize user interaction throughout every type of screen or device.
