What is your personal background? Where are you from?
I am originally from the Kalasin province in Thailand. Kalasin is a small city in the north eastern part of Thailand near Laos. I graduated with a law degree with first class honors from Chulalongkorn University. During my final year in university, I received a scholarship from the United States Department of State to study on various legal fields at a leading university in Atlanta Georgia.
Fun fact: I can also speak Laos
What is your professional background? Where were you working before you started at Everex?
Prior joining Everex, I worked in various legal concentrations such as: compliance and application processing in relation to corporate deals, company registration, legal research, as well as legal memorandums for tech startup companies across the region. In October 2017, I decided to join Everex to fuel my strong passion for Fintech and Blockchain Technologies. I aim to be one of Thailand’s first lawyers to explore and achieve success in this industry.
What do you do at Everex?
As legal counsel for Everex, most of my work includes reviewing, drafting interpreting and authenticating a variety of legal documents for management in accordance with current legal practices and blockchain protocols for Everex and subsidiary companies.
My current priority is preparation for Everex’s application to be a licensed digital asset business operator in Thailand and the surrounding regions.
What according to you is the most exciting thing about blockchain as a technology?
The most exciting thing about blockchain technology to me is the aspect of decentralization, which plays an important role in security. With the blockchain, there is no data center where all transaction information is stored. Rather, it’s stored on servers and hard drives globally. ...
